Drupalcon Lille soon!

Drupalcon Lille 2023

I'm happy to say that I've got the luck to attend my second Drupalcon this year! Last June I attended Drupalcon in Pittsburgh with Édouard, but this time I'm taking the plane all by myself to visit Lille. My conference ticket is sponsored (like the one in June) by EvolvingWeb. Air transat

It's going to be my first transatlantic flight, also my first with AirTransat. It's been exactly 10 years I took the plane and it was for another Drupalcon, Portland in 2013. For some reason, I don't feel the same excitation of the last Drupalcon (in June), I feel a lot calmer and sereine for this one.

Contribution day

In Pittsburgh, at contribution day, I worked on a SDC generator. A lot of the work was already done in cl_generator, but with the recent addition of the SDC in core and the recent release of Drush 12, nothing was working anymore and a lot of cleanup was needed. It was particular experience, but I'm proud of the work done and now available directly from Drush.

For Lille, things will probably be a little different. I already started working on a big patch in samlauth to add support for multiple IdP, and it will probably not be completed by the Drupalcon. So I might as well use that time to finish it. A good number of big companies uses multiple IdP. An IdP for regular clients and another one for employees. Azure B2C for clients (fraction of a cents per user per month) and Azure AD for employees (around 6$ per user per month) comes to mind, but there's a lot of different configuration out there in the wild.
